Electronic Waste at Cal Poly Humboldt

Abstract:
This report investigates receptacles and locations for encouraging and educating about diverting electronic waste from the main waste stream. This group compares the outcomes of alternatives of marking and outreach, recepical design and no action as ways to develp a larger electronic waste collection system.
Problem Statement:
While Cal Poly Humboldt manages a vast amoutn of instituation electronic waste in an efficient way, limited opportunities for electronic wast disposal exist for small items, especially in the residence halls, and around faulty and staff offices.
