Abstract: 
This document identifies a small portion of the mad river bluff property, located within the mckinleyville land trust, targeted for ecosystem restoration primarily through the thinning of trees. This in an effort to promote the sitka spruce/ beach pine forest association which has become increasingly threatened. Includes information restoration techniques, monitoring plan and parameters for trees to be thinned, as well as goals of the project.
Problem Statement: 
Research and develop a unique and appropriate restoration plan for the mad river bluff property.
