Motivation for Sustainable Behavior on Campus

Abstract: 
This report explores different strategies to encourage student and faculty to adopt everyday sustainable practices. As a way to reduce waste a month long trial of E-points or Environmental Points was implemented in all campus food service location. E-points were awarded to students or staff for using reusable bags, cups, or utensils. Prizes were awarded to the three students with the most points and three randomly selected students.
Problem Statement: 
There is a lack of motivation to practice sustainability on campus from the students and faculty.
