Social Marketing of the Redirection of Humboldt's Waste Stream

Abstract: 
Many campus community members are unclear as to what is compostable, whit is recyclable, and what is truly trash. This group tried to increase the use of compost bins across campus and asks "Can this problem be alleviated through social marketing tools to help Humboldt identify and redirect "waste to an appropriate outlet?"
Problem Statement: 
There is a lack of awarenness and participation in the redirection of the solid waste stream by Humboldt staff and student body.
