Abstract: 
Project looks into water usage on the campus of Cal Poly Humboldt and issues pertaining to stormwater runoff as both a possible resource and environmental contaminant. Focus of document is on development of methods to utilize stormwater runoff and minimize its negative environmental impacts to downstream water quality and ecosystems. Methods discussed include catchment systems, vegetative infiltration, micro-hydro power and porous pavements. Several case studies are mentioned.
Problem Statement: 
Raise awareness of stormwater runoff as a potential environmental pollutant and also as a possible renewable resource.
