Promoting Alternative Transportation at Humboldt

Abstract: 
This paper compared different activities that would to encourage behavior change to alternative means of transportation to and from campus. With the goals of doubling the amount of carpooling, increasing public transportation ridership, and decreasing parking permit sales.
Problem Statement: 
Although parking on campus is considered difficult to come by and Humboldt is working towards achieving sustainability, the existing alternative means of transportation area not currently convenient or accessible for the Humboldt population.
