Abstract:
Development of methods to increase access and effectiveness of appropriate technology education primarily through hands-on educational models in conjunction with the Campus Center for Appropriate Technology (CCAT) located on the campus of Cal Poly Humboldt. Models chosen as final suggestions include bamboo construction, rainwater catchment and a grey water marsh.
Problem Statement:
Increase educational access to appropriate technology through hands-on learning and accessible information.
