The main problem standing in the way of the BLC reaching its goal is that it lacks the necessary funding needed. The BLC does not currently have either capital required to perform any of the basic functions of reducing parking congestion, maintain a facility, and support a campus cycling community to promoting bicycle usage from college students, promote personal health, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It is our goal to change things so that the BLC gets what it needs in order to promote alternative transportation and help build a stronger community on campus.
