Project involves research into the enhancement of the Beith Creek nature area and possible implementation of a nature trail to increase local opportunity for environmental education of both the community and students of Sunny Brae Middle School. Focus is on area restoration, removal of invasive species, replanting native plants and an educational nature trail, allowing access to the enhanced nature area.
Problem Statement:
Develop and increase environmental education opportunities for community members and Sunny Brae Middle School through enhancement of the nature are surrounding Beith Creek.
