A look at the paper usage on the campus of Cal Poly Humboldt with particular attention paid to methods aimed at reducing paper consumption in academic computing labs.

The goal is to reduce the amount of paper waste on campus by adopting sustainable cradle to cradle processes.

For our Capstone Project, we worked with The Friends of the Dunes (FOD) to collect information and data about the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center’s (HCNC) natural landscaping program to compile into a living document.

Student conducted community survey to assess public awareness of sustainably harvested certified forest products and willingness of community members to purchase such products.
