Abstract: 
Project contains general research into methods aimed at increasing public awareness of the benefits of fungi with respect to ecosystem importance and on site-food production through interaction at the Campus Center for Appropriate Technology at Cal Poly Humboldt. Also contains brief discussion on possible role of fungi in mycoremediation. Includes strategies such as mushroom workshops, an on-site mushroom garden and informational literature.
Problem Statement: 
Increase representation at CCAT of fungi as a intergral part of the ecosystem and potential on-site food source.
