Project focuses on methods and education aimed at reducing waste generation which occurs during graduation and related ceremonies for Cal Poly Humboldt. These methods and suggested educational outreach are in an effort to make Humboldt graduation and related ceremonies into zero waste events.

Project contains general research into methods aimed at increasing public awareness of the benefits of fungi with respect to ecosystem importance and on site-food production through interaction at the Campus Center for Appropriate Technology at Cal Poly Humboldt.

Development of methods to increase awareness and efficiency of operations at the Reusable Office Supply Exchange program site on the campus of Cal Poly Humboldt. Methods discussed include informational signage, advertisement campaign, increased storage/ organization and departmental surveys.

Document reviews the lack of bicycle parking on the campus of Cal Poly Humboldt and attemps to promote bicycling as an alternative and viable means of transportation. Primary attention is paid to bicycle parking racks, and methods to improve rack location and design.

Project looks at the transportation situation on the camous of Cal Poly Humboldt, with particular attention paid to single occupancy vehicle usage and efforts to improve alternative transportation options.

Brief development of methods to increase public awarness and usage of alternative transportation resources available to Humbolt State University students and faculty. Project includes the formation of the transportation club at Humboldt.

Development of environmentaly concious and sustainable alternatives for the design and construction of a proposed housing development in the community of Arcata, California.

Development and research into possible methods to increase alternative transportation participation among students and staff of Cal Poly Humboldt.

Development of resources to help understand how Cal Poly Humboldt decides what kinds of wood products to use in on campus construction products. Project also attemps to address issues of sustainable wood product use and raise awareness among the campus community.

General development of efforts to encourage the purchasing and use of environmentally friendly, local food for on campus services at Cal Poly Humboldt.
