Abstract:
Project focuses on methods and education aimed at reducing waste generation which occurs during graduation and related ceremonies for Cal Poly Humboldt. These methods and suggested educational outreach are in an effort to make Humboldt graduation and related ceremonies into zero waste events. Methods discussed include increased recycling activities/ use, informational adverstisements, and reduction in vehicle usage for events.
Problem Statement:
Develop methods and educational tools to make the graduation ceremonies of Humboldt zero waste events.
