Abstract:
Document reviews the lack of bicycle parking on the campus of Cal Poly Humboldt and attemps to promote bicycling as an alternative and viable means of transportation. Primary attention is paid to bicycle parking racks, and methods to improve rack location and design.
Problem Statement:
Promote bicycle usage on campus through distribution of new bike racks to areas of high demand and the updating of racks already in place.
