Ride Share and Carpool

Connect with fellow carpoolers in your area with the Ride Match Service!

Students and employees can now utilize the Cal Poly Humboldt Ride Match Service to connect with others interested in sharing rides to/from campus. By carpooling you will enjoy an easier commute, save money on gas and parking, meet new people and even gain access to carpool-only parking! There are separate Ride Match sign-ups for students and for faculty/staff.  Check out this Ride Match Info for details, and see below to sign up.

Ride Share for Students >>>

It's easy to participate - simply complete the Student Ride Match Interest Form, and the Ride Match Coordinator will email you with details for connecting with nearby ride matches. You can either request rides, offer to drive, or both, and you decide which of the matches you wish to connect with. You must be age 18 and currently enrolled in good standing to participate.

Ride Share for Faculty/Staff >>>

Complete the Faculty/Staff Ride Match Interest Form, and the Ride Match Coordinator will email you with details for connecting with nearby ride matches. You can either request rides, offer to drive, or boh, and you decide which of the matches you wish to connect with. Only current faculty and staff may participate.

Preferential Carpool Parking >>>

Are you tired of driving to campus and not being able to find a parking space? Would you like preferential parking on campus? Each day you have 3 or more people in your car (2 if that's the car's maximum capacity), stop by the parking kiosk on Rossow St. between 7am - 11am, show your Humboldt General or Staff parking permit and receive a free Carpool Preferential Parking Permit for the day, valid for the Carpool Parking Only spaces in the G11 parking lot.

Virtual Ride Board to Give/Receive Rides out of the Area >>>

Going home for break and need a ride? Or are you driving and you want to split costs for the trip? Connect with other Cal Poly Humboldt students to get or receive rides to distant destinations! Simply complete this Virtual Ride Board form with info about your trip and we'll try to connect you with others heading your way.

Map showing locations of Ride Match Participants and whether they want a ride, can give a ride or both. This map gets sent to participants when they sign up for the ride match service
