Research into the development of a new course (ENVS 480/LEAD 380) for the student in action project in the environmental science department at Cal Poly Humboldt. Course being designed focuses around building leadership in just and sustainable food systems through service learning outreach into the local community with food security as the central theme. Document contains methods for course recruitment, along with resources for possible student projects and community partners.
